The Federal Agency of Work is one of the most advanced public institutions in Germany that efficiently digitize their business processes using SAP cloud technologies. “With the use of Rise with SAP, the Federal Employment Agency is taking an important step in the right direction. Together we set new standards in the digitization of the public administration,” explains Thomas Saueressig, member of the SAP SAS, Customer Services & Delivery and adds: “The decision of the Federal Agency to break down with us as a SAP: With determination and partnership. From the fundamental debate into implementation.
SAP is investing in digital sovereignty of public service
With the choice of Rise with SAP, the Federal Employment Agency relies on a fully certified cloud infrastructure that meets the highest security and compliance standards and is specially tailored to the requirements of the public sector. In addition, with its sovereign cloud capability, SAP enables compliance with strict data protection and compliance requirements by saving and processing data in German data centers. This ensures that sensitive information remains under the control of the Federal Agency and at the same time benefit from the advantages of the cloud. Last year, SAP announced a billion -dollar investment program in the development of key technologies that are tailored to the needs of the public sector and heavily regulated industries. Over the next ten years, SAP is planning to invest over two billion euros in the development of high-proof, local and regulatory compliant cloud offers.
