SAP Newsbyte – June 25, 2025 – Stadtwerke Flensburg GmbH modernizes and digitizes its core processes with Rise with SAP, SAP S/4HANA Utilities and SAP Successfactors. The aim is to react faster and more efficiently to the increasing requirements of customers – regionally and nationwide. The focus includes more quality of life, higher customer satisfaction and a sustainable contribution to the energy transition. For this purpose, processes are automated, flexibility increases and the digital transformation of the entire company is promoted.
In order to remain competitive in the increasingly dynamic energy market and to be able to react quickly to new requirements and customer needs, the company will replace rigid system landscapes with flexible, using SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) orchestrated services. Intuitively operated solutions and high automation degrees improve the customer processes sustainably and at the same time increase efficiency in network operation – this is how Stadtwerke Flensburg GmbH creates the basis for a future -proof conversion of the energy system – digital, green and resource -saving.
Supported by generative AI, standard processes in customer service, market communication and also in network operation are simplified and at the same time improved qualitatively. Digital change is also promoted internally: with SAP Successfactors, Stadtwerke Flensburg GmbH modernizes its personnel management processes-from employee acquisition to development to long-term binding.
