Wall village – September 2, 2025 – The SAP SE today presents a comprehensive new approach for digital sovereignty and AI innovation in Europe. With the extended offers of the SAP SOEUGN Cloud portfolio, European customers will have access to a comprehensive technology stack in the future, which includes both the SAP Cloud Infrastructure and SAP SOEGEGN Cloud on-site. The current announcement of SAP sets a new scale for safe, compliant and scalable innovations and underlines the importance of digital sovereignty as a central element for technological resilience and strategic autonomy in Europe.

Delivery options for various security profiles
With the expansion of the SAP SOVERGN Cloud, customers can choose between different provision models, offer control over infrastructure, platform and software and can be adapted to specific regulatory and operational requirements. These options enable companies to comply with the applicable local laws and to scale their systems accordingly. SAP SOVEIGN Cloud solutions are available on:
- SAP Cloud Infrastructure: The IAAS platform from SAP is based on open source technologies, runs in the SAP data center network and stores all data in the EU according to data protection requirements.
- SAP sovereign Cloud on-site: SAP provides an infrastructure operated by SAP, which is located in a data center selected by the customer or owned by the customer. This solution meets the highest demands on data, operating, technology and legal sovereignty and at the same time ensures the innovative ability and architecture of SAP.
- Delos Cloud: With the Delos Cloud in Germany, SAP offers a safe and confident cloud that supports the flexible and fast transformation of the public sector in order to meet country -specific sovereign requirements.
