Currently, the SAP Business AI catalog in the SAP Discovery Center (AI Catalog) Descriptions for more than 240 AI use cases, including Joule Functions and Joule Agents, categorized by business area.
In addition, the AI catalog provides details on the added value and estimated business benefits for customers as well as helpful resources, such as detailed product documentation and demos.


“Since its launch ten months ago, the AI catalog has been heavily visited by customers and partners,” reports Holger Neuert, Chief Product Manager for the AI catalog. “Users spend a lot of time browsing the documented AI use cases. They also regularly return to the AI catalog to learn more about AI features, Joule Agents and resources (related).”
Show customers the added value of AI
The AI Catalog acts as a comprehensive source of information, providing details on solutions and the potential business benefits.
SAP Customer Success Manager Nick Pearce uses the AI Catalog to access important documentation, customer value and pricing information, and the AI Estimator tool for AI capabilities.
“I can quickly see information about potential business benefits, such as how job applications can be processed 70 percent faster using AI-powered applicant screening. This allows me to communicate with my SAP SuccessFactors customers about the added value and discuss where they should start with their AI strategy,” explains Pearce.

Dr. Michael Glück, Global Head of Value Advisory at SAP, explains that the estimates of the added value of the AI functions in the AI catalog are based on SAP’s industry expertise and supported by benchmark data and third-party research. Additionally, initial feedback from customers on each AI use case is taken into account.
