In the last two years and a half, I had a long journey developing my Logic Script Skills. I went from being a complete beginner to a confident expert in that time. Starting with Logic Script was not easy as there were no materials which can give you even sufficient foundations.
Because of that, I decided that it could be helpful to record a course on Logic Script that will help every newcomer to learn pretty quickly all important ways of implementing this proprietary SAP language.
I have managed to create a course more than 4 hours long where anybody interested in learning will be able to practice with me. You will probably need to dedicate 16-20 hours to grasp the material fully, but after that, I am confident you won’t have problems implementing the language in real life scenarios.
I must admit that my English is probably not on the level I want to be, but I firmly believe you won’t have problems to understand the course. The reason is that all learning is based on real-time coding while building a small planning solution with very diversified cases.
That comes with me making some silly mistakes which mostly like you do as well. But the value in that is to show you how to troubleshoot those kinds of situations in your Logic Script adventure.
In the course, I am covering a business scenario with Resource, PnL and Rates Models. There are many cases that you will probably face in real life project such as reading labour rates, currency conversion, applying markups on costs, distributing lump sum of costs for a whole year or just to a plan periods, etc.
The course starts with building the same dimensions and models as I use to build the scenario. Then it continues with really simple examples of basic logic script code for complete beginners in Logic Script and potentially in programming as well. Later I am gradually increasing the complexity and making the Logic Script dynamic which will be the case for most of the implementations you will see.
