Over 150,000 users in 175 countries were affected by this IBM project within 18 months. During this time, the infrastructure costs and the associated processes were reduced by 30 percent by tightening the entire server and database and increasing process automation.³ IBM Consulting directed this transformation project from start to finish and provided the know-how for the technical services, implementation and application management. This ensured that these complex solutions could be safely migrated and operated.
