SAP NEWSBYTE — November 12, 2025 The global automotive supplier Brose has successfully migrated its central SAP systems to SAP Cloud ERP Private in Amazon Web Services (AWS). The company has thus reached an important milestone on the path to digital transformation.
Within just six months, Brose moved its business-critical systems from its own data centers to the cloud – including complex production processes such as just-in-time and just-in-sequence processes in the global manufacturing plants. The migration took place without interrupted deliveries to customers and underlines the stability of the solution and the strength of the partnership between SAP and Brose.
“This cloud migration makes Brose faster, more flexible and more resilient – and strengthens our position as an innovative partner for the mobility of the future,” says Stefan Krug, CEO of the Brose Group. “Especially in challenging times, it becomes clear how important digital transformation is. I am proud of the commitment of our team and the seamless collaboration with SAP.”
The project is considered a reference implementation for the automotive industry and sets standards for future SAP cloud initiatives. The successful launch demonstrates how SAP Cloud ERP Private supports high-performance production environments while enabling scalability and innovation.
“With the quick and trouble-free migration to SAP Cloud ERP Private, Brose shows how companies in the automotive industry can gain agility and resilience through the cloud,” says Thomas Saueressig, Member of the Board of Management of SAP SE. “This collaboration demonstrates what is possible when industry leaders approach digital transformation with speed and precision.”
Looking to the future and as a pioneer of automotive digitalization, Brose will continue to work closely with SAP and other partners to strengthen the basis for SAP cloud solutions and leverage innovations such as SAP Business AI.
