Introduction:
In today's digital business environment, organization are generating and managing large volume of documents across different operations from engineering drawings, CAD files, PO (Purchase Orders), Regulatory documents, etc. Effective document management has become a critical success factor for enterprise seeking operational efficiency, regulatory compliance and audit purpose. For e.g. Pharma. A&D industry have to maintain these documents for multiple decades for regulatory purposes.
Not only this, but business users also want search capabilities to search documents based on Meta Data as well as content within the document, easy access, authorization control and lift and shift of the repository independent of the application solution.

What is SAP Document Management Services?
SAP Document Management Service is a content management solution available on the Cloud Foundry environment of SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP). It is based on the OASIS (Organization for the Advancement of Structured Information Standards) industry standard CMIS (Content Management interoperability Services) and include features like versioning, Hierarchies, access control and document lifecycle.

- Integration with Document Grounding service to allow it to gather information from Documents and make it available as an AI source.

Monitoring and Troubleshooting

In the SAP Support Portal, check the Guided Answers Information published on SAP site section for SAP BTP.
3. Create SAP incident
You can report an incident or error using SAP component i.e. BC-CP-CF-SDM*. Under SDM you can select Integration, application or repository options.
