Partnership opens new avenues for migrating enterprise data with AI-powered tools from SAP, complemented by AIP from Palantir for data migration scenarios. This simplifies and accelerates digital transformation for SAP customers, with Accenture acting as a co-innovation partner for joint customers.

At this year's SAP Sapphire, SAP and Palantir announced an expansion of their strategic partnership that will provide new data migration capabilities. These are intended to help customers be successful in the AI age and realize SAP's vision of the autonomous company.

The goal of the expanded partnership is to facilitate mutual customers' cloud migrations so that the most complex data migration scenarios move quickly and securely through the business transformation process.

AI integrated throughout the migration lifecycle

The expanded partnership builds on SAP's broader agent-based migration strategy. It combines SAP's deep enterprise application and SAP Business AI expertise and Palantir's AIP platform to deliver AI-powered data migration capabilities that accelerate timelines, ensure cost savings and transform enterprise processes. SAP customers can now use Palantir's AIP for data migration scenarios alongside SAP's agent-based seamlessly integrated tools, which include business transformation tools and the new migration and modernization wizards, accelerating the transition to SAP cloud ERP applications.

“To realize the vision of the autonomous enterprise, companies need trusted partners to help them transform their core processes and benefit from business data and AI,” said Christian Klein, CEO of SAP SE. “Together with Palantir, we are enabling our customers to move quickly and securely to the cloud with complementary capabilities that accelerate innovation across the enterprise.”

“We are proud to partner with SAP and Accenture to help companies harness the power of advanced AI and data migration for the world's most important operations. This partnership is designed to help customers get the most value from their data, accelerate migration to the cloud and deployment of AI, and create more resilient and efficient operations,” said Alex Karp, Co-founder and CEO of Palantir Technologies.

Accenture as Global Strategic Services Partner

As the first Global Strategic Services Partner for this initiative, Accenture will play a key role in delivering this collaborative project to help clients translate these capabilities into large enterprise programs. Together, SAP, Palantir and Accenture can help joint customers identify acceleration opportunities in SAP and third-party systems earlier, achieve faster time to value, and drive continuous innovation by fundamentally redefining the approach to SAP cloud ERP migrations. When companies use AI from the start, they can automate migration analysis, planning, troubleshooting, testing, and impact assessments, adding measurable value at every stage instead of just tracking project timelines.

“In today’s world, rapid time to value is critical for our clients,” said Julie Sweet, chair and CEO of Accenture. “We're excited to partner with SAP and Palantir to innovate so our customers can more quickly modernize their ERP systems with SAP. This is the foundation for redesigning core processes and discovering new opportunities to improve performance using AI.”

New SAP validated deployment options

SAP is making Palantir AIP available for data migration scenarios as an SAP Endorsed App in the SAP Store and soon as an SAP solution extension. This ensures a reliable, SAP-validated path to accelerate complex data migrations, including migrations to SAP Cloud ERP applications. The new SAP solution extension combines SAP's deep knowledge of key business processes and data with diverse semantics with Palantir AIP to securely accelerate data migrations for SAP customers. With the new offering, customers can gain valuable insights faster and achieve smarter, data-driven results.

Together, SAP and Palantir are redefining SAP data migrations, including modernizing ERP systems through complementary solutions. This turns a previously complex migration process into a project that enables faster value creation.

Availability

Palantir AIP for data migration scenarios is now available as an SAP Endorsed App in the SAP Store. The SAP solution extension is expected to be generally available to SAP customers in the third quarter of 2026.
