How to set up SAP Universal ID: Will take you to a step by step video, explaining the linking process
The most common issue people run into when they are adding a second account to their SAP Universal ID is that they add another email which has the domain as the primary email hence resulting in the error message that we see above.
Here are some points to help prevent this:
- To stay certified, you must first pair at least two email addresses to the Universal ID. but you must remember that Email domains must not match (Meaning a customer cannot use two @Gmail accounts to act as Primary and Recovery.)
- These two email addresses are not required to have any direct users attached to them. (S user or P user ID)
- These emails simply act as the Primary (First email) and Secondary (Also known as the Recovery email address) to assure the user has access.
- These emails must be in place first before a Certification can be added.
Once you have followed the above steps your SAP Universal ID will be compliant and you will be able to stay certified.
