What Manual Value Cases Deliver
Flexibility in value capture: Transformation Leads can now create value cases directly within an Initiative. Define the metric, set baseline and target values, specify the time period—all within the familiar Transformation Management experience.
Consistent measurement: Manual Value Cases use the same metric types as PAM-sourced value cases:
- Monetary values (cost savings, revenue impact)
- Non-monetary values (efficiency gains, quality improvements)
- Duration units (days, weeks, months, hours, minutes, seconds)
Unified visibility: All value cases—whether sourced from PAM or entered manually—appear together in the Value Cases table. Each value case clearly indicates its source, maintaining transparency for reporting.
Data integrity: Manual Value Cases are separated from PAM-sourced value cases at the data level. This preserves the integrity of automated value tracking while extending your ability to capture the full transformation story.
