Embedded Extensibility Wizard: Build the Right Extensions, Faster
We’re bringing the SAP Business Technology Platform (SAP BTP) extensibility wizard directly into SAP SuccessFactors solutions. This guided, in-app experience walks you through creating custom extensions—whether that’s a new data field, a People Profile tile for custom or external data, or an end-to-end business process—and ensures they’re seamlessly integrated with your SAP SuccessFactors landscape. Specifically, you can extend the People Profile, Spotlight, or Home Page by creating new tiles (UI cards) that surface organization-specific data from SuccessFactors or embed SAP BTP extensions, so users see all the context they need in one place.

• What it means for you: Extend the People Profile with new tiles to surface unique HR or external data and accelerate delivery while aligning HR processes to your unique requirements.

• Why it matters: Bring custom and external data into People Profile in a standardized, governed way—reducing complexity and manual effort and boosting productivity across HR and IT teams.

• Real-world impact: Give HR, managers, and employees a richer, holistic view in People Profile while streamlining operations with extensions that fit your business today and scale with you tomorrow. 

New API for the SAP Audit Log Service: Strengthen Compliance and Risk Management
SAP SuccessFactors HCM already exposes audit data to the SAP Audit Log service. With this release, we’re introducing a new API that programmatically surfaces read audit, change audit, and general audit data.

• What it means for you: Access audit logs via the new interface or continue to use the SAP Audit Log Viewer UI—whichever fits your workflow.
• Why it matters: Integrate SAP SuccessFactors audit logs with your internal GRC or SIEM systems to enhance monitoring, automate evidence collection, and speed audit responses.
• Real-world impact: Improve compliance oversight, reduce manual effort and costs, and increase operational efficiency with direct, secure access to the data you need.

New AI Agents for Permissions and Transport: Revolutionize Your System Administration
As part of our SAP-wide AI innovation program, we’re introducing two AI-powered agents (availability planned for June) to help streamline system administration tasks. We picked two of the most critical and time-consuming activities.

• Configuration Transport Agent: Quickly finds configurations, automatically bundles recent changes, and exports transport bundles to simplify and de-risk rollouts across your landscape. This helps reduce errors in a critical process and supports stronger business continuity.
• Role-Based Permissions Agent: Accelerates troubleshooting by diagnosing permission configuration issues and recommending actionable fixes with impact analysis. This can reduce resolution times from hours to minutes—without requiring specialized tools or deep-dive expertise.

Together, these H1 2026 enhancements represent a significant step forward in administrative efficiency and AI-powered assistance. The combination of streamlined extensibility, enhanced audit capabilities, and intelligent agents positions your organization for more agile, secure, and efficient HR operations.
