The SAP Fiori Apps Reference Library has long been the go-to resource for anyone looking to plan and implement SAP Fiori applications. It provides a comprehensive catalog of all available apps, technical configuration details, installation requirements, and direct links to related resources like the Product Availability Matrix and Maintenance Planner.
A smarter starting point — find, filter, and navigate to your apps instantly
Search Wide, Drill Deep — New Filtering Gets You to the Right Apps Fast
In the third quarter of 2024, we released the new List View for the Fiori Apps Library — and the response has been overwhelmingly positive, with great feedback continuing to come in.
The enhanced Apps List View provides a streamlined interface for searching, filtering, and personalizing the display of available apps by product suite and release version. Use this feature to efficiently find, organize, and customize app information to meet your needs.
By default, the List View displays all available apps at their highest release version. Once you select a Product Suite and Release Version, the list instantly narrows to show only what is available in your environment. The horizontal filters at the top address your primary constraints — keyword search, product suite, and release version — for quick and easy navigation.
For more granular exploration, the vertical filter sidebar on the left enables faceted navigation, allowing you to drill down by UI Technology (Fiori, SAP GUI, SAPUI5, WebDynpro), Line of Business (Finance, Supply Chain, Sourcing, etc.), Role, and more.
Start broad, drill deep — layered filters surface the right apps
The two complementary filter layers that work in harmony to help you zero in on exactly the right apps. The horizontal filter bar lets you set your broad selection criteria — such as Product Suite, Release Version, or Line of Business — instantly scoping the entire library to your context (for example, filtering by Finance surfaces 4,898 relevant apps). The vertical facet panel then lets you refine further within those results — revealing that 1,014 of those Finance apps also belong specifically to Budget and Finance — without ever losing sight of the broader picture. Together, these two filter levels give you a powerful, layered approach to app discovery: start wide, drill deep, and arrive at a precise, meaningful shortlist in just a few clicks.
All the App Details You Need, Organised So You Can Find Them Without the Effort
The Detail View provides comprehensive information about an app — including its role, product suite, release details, app ID, features, and related apps — organized across several tabs. These cover important SAP Notes, installation requirements (front-end and back-end components), configuration requirements (SAPUI5 applications, OData services, and Fiori Launchpad data), business catalogs, groups, spaces, pages, business roles, as well as extensibility and support information. Together, these details help you assess an app's suitability and plan its implementation effectively.

An Enhanced Selection Experience That Remembers What You're Working On — Every Time
The App Selection feature introduces a clear separation between app discovery and selection, while automatically saving your choices and preserving context throughout your session. It allows you to curate a specific list of applications for implementation, planning, or mass configuration — with selections carried over automatically across user sessions.
You can manage selections individually by using the toggle switch in the Selected column of the apps list view table, or in bulk using the Select All or Deselect All buttons at the top right of the table header. To focus exclusively on your chosen applications, click the Selected (n) tab to filter out all non-selected items.

Current Selections, Always at Hand
Current Selection accessible from side bar, shows a consolidated view of all the apps you have selected across various places within the SAP Fiori Apps Reference Library — for example, while browsing the apps list or search results. The key functionality here is the ability to filter this accumulated selection by Product Suite and Release Version, which lets you quickly check whether your chosen apps are available or not available in a specific release.

Saved Selections – Save Once, Reuse Anytime
Saved Selections also accessible from side bar, allows users to save their current selection under a named list for future reference, making it easy to revisit, load, or share curated sets of apps without having to re-select them each time. A particularly powerful feature visible here is the “Upload App Selection” option in the top right corner, which allows users to import a list of apps directly from a spreadsheet file.

Work in the Language You're Most Comfortable In — Across 10 UI and 40 Content Languages
The library is available in 10 UI languages, configurable via the app or browser settings, with all search and filter categories — including roles, catalogs, and system objects — displayed in your selected language. For localized content, a separate Content Language setting supporting approximately 40 languages allows app metadata such as role names, business catalog titles, and app launcher subtitles to be displayed in your preferred language, making the library accessible and practical for global teams.

What's Coming
Some features, such as Aggregate and Upgrade Analysis, are still making their way to the new version — in the meantime, they remain accessible via the classic library, with seamless navigation between the two. We are committed to continuously enhancing the new library, adding missing functionality and incorporating your feedback along the way.
