With the latest Product Compliance release, many new compliance requirement versions have been added to the embedded regulatory content. Among these is the TRGS Occupational Exposure Limits for Germany. To accommodate the additional data included in this compliance requirement version, we have expanded the Manage Compliance Requirement – SDS app.
Embedded regulatory content, by the numbers:
- 15 Compliance requirements for dangerous goods management
- 92 Compliance requirements for occupational exposure limits
- 102 Compliance requirements for safety data sheet management
- 142 Compliance requirements for safety data sheet authoring
- 273 Compliance requirements for product marketability
- 858 Embedded regulatory graphics
- Over 31,000 Embedded regulatory phrases
- Over 370,000 Embedded listed substances and other listed substance content

There are also two new read APIs for phrase-enabled fields and compliance requirement versions. These APIs help fill in any gaps in the regulatory content. For example, if you have a phrase imported that only contains the Phrase ID, you can use the read API to retrieve the rest of the information and translations that match the Phrase ID. You can find both APIs on the Business Accelerator Hub here.
A first step toward the vision of allowing users to import and view content which has been brought into the system is here. A new app, Manage Regulatory Content Updates, is available to view information on content imports to your product compliance system from the Regulatory Content Service. This app is currently only available in public cloud systems.
In this demo video you will see setting up a third-party content provider communication arrangement to product compliance for regulatory content as well as a glimpse at the new app.
