SAP Sales Cloud and SAP Service Cloud (C4C) Pre-Release Briefing presentation for the upcoming 2605 (May 2026) release is now available. We have some key innovations to be shared as part of SAP Sales Cloud and SAP Service Cloud 2605 Release.

Platform & Integration:

Mandatory Adoption – Convert Embedded SAC Stories to Optimized Design Experience (ODE) Format

SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) has introduced Optimized Design Experience, which enables content within an Embedded SAC story to load quickly. Existing stories that are in ‘classic’ mode will remain in the classic format until they are converted to ODE format. Please follow the simple steps mentioned in our help documentation here to convert your existing stories into the ODE format. The help documentation also contains links from SAC documentation on this topic.

Please note that SAC plans to deprecate the classic format by the end of Q2 2026. Hence, customers are advised to perform the conversion of their classic Embedded SAC stories before the mentioned timeframe.

Transition Tools:

• Readiness Check Tool (RCT) | Shows installed Add-Ons in V1 tenant – The “Installed Add-Ons” tab shows Add-Ons applied in the V1 tenant that the RCT is running on.
• Data Transfer Tool (DTT) | Introducing ”Count Summary” in Org Structures – Introducing “Count Summary” with “Org Structures” to classify transfer data instances within business object.
• Data Transfer Tool (DTT) | Key User Extensibility field Transfer in BP Relationships – Business Partner (BP) Relationships support Transfer of Key User Extensibility Field transfer in DTT.
• Data Transfer Tool (DTT) | Transfer Code List Mapping as part of BC Transfer – “Transfer All BC” now includes Code List Mapping.

Feeds | Integration with SAP Build Work Zone, advanced edition – As an Administrator, you have an option to use SAP Jam (until 31st December 2026 due to deprecation of SAP Jam collaboration) or SAP Build Work Zone, advanced edition for collaboration via Feeds. This was communicated earlier in the SAP Sales Cloud and SAP Service Cloud 2511 Release Briefing. Kindly plan to move from SAP Jam and start using SAP Build Work Zone, advanced edition for collaboration via Feeds based on your requirements.

SAP Sales Cloud DVP Add-On:

• Dynamic Visit Planning Add-On | Outstation Planning – Dynamic visit planning now allows to curate plans with stays away from office/home to manage territories.
• Dynamic Visit Planning Add-On | Plan my day on filtered list – Plan my day would only focus on accounts with highest score, Now it respects the filters as well.

SAP Service Cloud:

• Support in C4C Ticket for FSM Data Retention in C4C-FSM Integration – When a service call object is marked for soft delete or hard delete by the data retention policy in FSM by an Administrator, the corresponding replicated ticket still remains in C4C. Any update on C4C ticket will not trigger an outbound sync to FSM anymore.
• Enabled Read/Write access (PSM release) for Maintenance Plan field MaintenancePlanNextRunMDROID

SAP Agent Desktop Add-On:

• Agent Desktop Add-On | New Ticket Form on Incoming Call Acceptance – The ‘New Ticket Create' form would display alongside the Agent Desktop session when the agent accepts an incoming phone call.
