The SAP SuccessFactors HCM First Half 2026 Release includes many exciting UX enhancements that will delight users and simplify the way work gets done. These innovations are designed to bring more personalization and greater flexibility across devices and applications, making HR easier at every touchpoint. Here’s a snapshot of what you can expect to see in this release:

Latest home page innovations
In this release, we are delivering several enhancements to our latest home page. Web users can now view cards in the “Needs Attention” section as a full page as well as expand all custom cards into a single view, making it easier to scan, filter, and interact with many cards at once. Additionally, custom background images are now supported in the greeting section, allowing customers to adjust the look and feel to their preference. Users can also leverage new “Personal Quick Links,” enabling them to add up to five of their own links directly to the home page. We have also enhanced the latest home page on mobile with the ability to personalize Quick Actions and Quick Links on the go. In addition, the “Explore More” section is now fully supported on mobile, providing access to the same banners and analytic cards available on web.

Redesigned foundational UI components
Customers can leverage redesigned foundational UI elements, including the shell bar, navigation panel, user menu, and settings dialog. These modern, standardized components are aligned to the broader SAP design system and provide greater consistency when navigating between SAP cloud solutions.

Mobile enhancements
We are pleased to announce that our mobile app now supports AI-assisted writing, allowing users to easily enhance communication on the go. Whether adding goals, providing feedback, or creating a self-introduction in the People Profile, employees can receive tailored suggestions that make daily writing more impactful. Additionally, we are bringing several existing web experiences to mobile, enabling users to easily create and track HR tickets, view and rate skill proficiency levels, manage work schedules and request temporary adjustments, and more.

Work tech innovations
We are enhancing the SAP SuccessFactors app for Microsoft Teams to make it easier for employees to complete HR tasks directly within the flow of work. In this release, we are introducing calendar sync notifications for absence changes, helping ensure schedules stay up to date when an absence is updated or cancelled. Additionally, the Clock My Time quick action now supports geofencing so that employees can use Microsoft Teams on a supported mobile device to record time when physically present in an approved location. Finally, the Microsoft Teams app now supports onboarding notifications and HR ticket creation and tracking.
