On May 26, 2026, SAP Signavio is releasing two interconnected updates that will change how you navigate and work within the suite. Together, they represent the most significant user-experience improvement to SAP Signavio in recent years.

The first update is a fully redesigned, unified navigation: one consistent side navigation connecting all SAP Signavio capabilities, a new personalized homepage called My Page, and SAP WalkMe integrated directly in the header to guide you through the changes.

The second update unifies SAP Signavio Process Insights and SAP Signavio Process Intelligence into a single product and interface under the name SAP Signavio Process Intelligence.

This guide covers both changes in detail, so you know exactly what to expect, what has moved, and what this means for your day-to-day work.

The New SAP Signavio Suite Navigation

The goal of this change is simple: one home for everything, structured around how you work, instead of navigating multiple disconnected menus or relying on bookmarks to find capabilities.

Everything in SAP Signavio is now accessible from a single, unified place.

1. The App Switcher Is Gone

The app switcher (grid icon in the top bar) has been removed.

Every SAP Signavio capability is now accessible directly from the unified left-side navigation.

2. New Navigation Structure

The left-side navigation is organized into consistent areas:

  • Quick Access (top): Your personal starting point: Home (My Page), Process Consulting Agent, Newsfeed, Favorites, Recents, and Tasks.
  • Transformation Journey (middle): Capabilities grouped by phase: Browse and Manage | Transform and Realize Value | Mine and Analyze (it will be explained in detail below) | Model and Govern.
  • Administration (bottom): Lab Space, Reporting, User Management, and Workspace Settings

Whatever you are working on, the structure is always the same. You always know where you are and what comes next along the transformation journey.

3. My Page: Your New Personalized Home

My Page is a new personalized homepage within SAP Signavio. It is your own space to quickly access what you care about, what you have been working on, and where you need to go next.

Three widgets are available at launch:

  • Favorites: items you have starred.
  • Recents: recently visited process models and capabilities.
  • Quick Links: user-defined links to any URL (inside or outside Signavio), pinned directly on your homepage.

You can drag and drop widgets to rearrange your layout and add additional widgets via the Add widget button in the top right corner.

More widgets from other product areas are planned for future releases.

Note: My Page is available to advanced users (anyone with more than a basic Hub license). It is intentionally not available to process participants who log in infrequently. Admins can disable My Page via a feature flag. There are three home experiences in total: the original Landing Page, My Page (new), and My Process Overview (released November 2025).

4. Header Changes: Workspace Switch and Preview/Publish Mode

Two controls that used to be buried in the user profile menu are now always visible in the header:

  • Workspace Switcher: promoted from the user menu to the header, right next to the Signavio logo. The active workspace is always visible, making multi-workspace navigation faster and more intuitive.
  • Preview/Publish Mode Indicator: moved from the user menu to the header. When in preview mode, the header background turns yellow as a clear visual signal. The dashed banner that previously appeared in the content area is gone.

5. User Menu: What Changed

Several items in the user menu have been updated or reorganized:

  1. Personal Settings renamed to Settings.
  2. Audiences and content language settings remain unchanged.
  3. Content Language remain unchanged.
  4. Legal Information (privacy policy, terms of use) added and now accessible from one place across all capabilities.
  5. Workspace ID and Product Version moved to a new About dialog.
  6. Manage Account added with an explicit label (navigates to the user profile, same behavior as before).

Note: Admins can still configure the header background color and upload a custom logo in workspace settings.

7. SAP WalkMe: In-App Guided Tours from Day One

SAP WalkMe is now integrated directly into the SAP Signavio header and is available across all capabilities. It provides guided in-app walkthroughs to help users orient to the new navigation from day one.

On first login after the May 26 release, you will see a WalkMe welcome screen. Clicking “Show me around” launches a guided tour covering the new side navigation, user menu, workspace switcher, and the WalkMe panel itself.

At launch, four guided tours go live:

  • Two covering the new suite navigation (side navigation and Process Manager navigation).
  • Two covering SAP Signavio Process Intelligence topics (including Create Dashboard).

Six additional flows will follow in a phased rollout two to three weeks after launch, reaching ten tours in total.

All embedded tours are provided by SAP Signavio at no extra cost, available to all users across all license types, and launch in English (translations planned for the second half of 2026).

Note: A premium WalkMe option is available as a paid add-on for organizations that want to build their own custom guided flows tailored to their specific processes. Admins manage WalkMe settings in Workspace Settings under “WalkMe Digital Adoption Tool.”

  1. Your workspace, simplified
  • Fewer Tabs, less noise: The new navigation, cuts down the number of open browser tabs, so your workflow stays clean and your focus stays sharp.
  • Built for Your Role: Each user sees only the capabilities relevant to their role, license, and access settings. Whether you are a process analyst, a modeler, or an administrator, your navigation looks exactly like it should.

  1. Admins Only: Explore Three Flexible Display Modes

Administrators can set the default state of the side navigation in workspace settings, or configure it per capability:

  • Expanded: fully visible with labels, ideal for orientation and onboarding.
  • Collapsed (Icons Only): shows icons only for a focused, compact view. Used by default in areas like the repository to preserve content space.
  • Off-Screen (Overlay): the navigation slides in on demand via the hamburger menu. Used in canvas-based tools like Process Modeler where screen real estate matters. The full navigation is always one click away.

Note: Users can manually expand or collapse the navigation during their session by clicking the hamburger menu. The admin-configured default is restored on the next login.

  1. Special information for Administrators

As an administrator, please complete the following steps after the Signavio release :

  • Review and configure the default navigation state for your organization: expanded, icons only, or completely off screen (overlay mode) in the navigation section within your workspace settings.
  • Review audience and access configurations to ensure each user group sees the navigation item relevant to their role.
  • Communicate this change to your end users, so they are prepared for the updated experience when they log in.
  • If your organization holds a WalkMe Premium license, you must enter your WalkMe System URL to activate your customized digital adoption experience. To do this, navigate to Workspace Settings – Help resources – WalkMe Digital adoption platform, select “and paste your System URL in the field provided.

New Navigation in Process Modeler

Process Modeler uses a canvas-based workspace where screen space is critical. The new navigation handles this through the overlay (off-screen) mode.

  • When you open Process Modeler, the left-side navigation automatically hides to give the canvas its full workspace.
  • To access the navigation, click the hamburger menu (≡) at any time. The side navigation slides in as an overlay without navigating away from your current work.
  • All capabilities previously accessible via the user menu inside Process Modeler (such as Dictionary, Explorer, Quick Model, and Graphical Editor) are now listed under the Process Manager entry in the side navigation.

Note: Governance Workflow navigation is partially integrated in this release. When navigating to Governance Workflows, the overlay navigation does not yet display the full list of capabilities. Users can click “Back to Home” to return to the Signavio workspace. Full integration is planned.

What to Expect on May 26, 2026

The new navigation, My Page, and WalkMe go live simultaneously for all SAP Signavio users on May 26, 2026. No action is required from end users to access the new navigation. It is available from the first login after the release date.

WalkMe guided tours will greet you on your first login with a “Show me around” prompt. These tours are free, available in English, and walk you through every major change. You can return to them at any time via the WalkMe icon in the header.

The SAP Help Portal documentation is being updated in parallel. An additional entry point reflecting the unified Signavio experience will be available from May 26. Existing documentation by product and SKU will co-exist during the transition period.
