SAP Translation Hub Rolls Out Glossary Editor for …

Managing terminology in SAP Translation Hub used to require working outside the product. To update a glossary entry, you had to export your data to CSV, make your changes in a spreadsheet, and re-import the file, a process that added steps and introduced the risk of formatting errors each time a term needed updating.

That changes today. SAP Translation Hub now includes a glossary editor directly within the Intelligent Data Reuse component, giving you a dedicated UI to manage your terminology without ever leaving the product.

What's new?
The glossary editor lets you work with your terminology data in place:

Search and filter: Quickly locate the entries you need across your glossary, even as it grows.
Edit entries: Update source terms, target terms, or definitions directly in the UI, no CSV required.
Delete entries: Remove outdated or incorrect terms without touching a file.

What does this mean for your workflow?

The previous approach of exporting, editing, and re-importing a CSV file added unnecessary steps every time a term needed updating, and with manual file handling comes the risk of formatting errors, accidental overwrites, or data loss on re-import. The new editor eliminates these failure points entirely.

How to get started
The glossary editor is available now in the Intelligent Data Reuse component of SAP Translation Hub on SAP BTP (regions EU10, EU11, and US10). To access it:

1. Open SAP Translation Hub and navigate to Intelligent Data Reuse
2. Select Manage Glossaries in the left pane
3. Open a glossary to start searching, editing, or deleting entries
