One Place for Every Document That Matters

I've been waiting to announce and publish this one for a while, because it's a significant and major integration between Onboarding and Employee Central's Latest People Profile, and something customers have been asking for a long time.

At long last: Onboarding-related documents (and attachments) will now show on Employee Central's Latest People Profile, aka, ECT PPX!

One Place for Every Document That Matters

One of the most anticipated additions to the Latest People Profile is the new Documents section — a centralized hub where employees can find every important document tied to their employment journey, all in one place. This includes Onboarding documents.

No more hunting through separate systems or workflows. Whether it's onboarding compliance forms, a completed Form I-9, or other HR-critical documents, they now surface directly within the employee's own profile. The experience is role-aware, too: managers with the appropriate permissions can see the documents they're authorized to view, while employees always have full access to their own records.

Availability: Early Adoption in 1H 2026 — General Availability planned for 2H 2026.

Getting set up is straightforward. Administrators can configure the Documents section visibility through Configure Latest People Profile, with options to make it universally accessible or controlled through Role-Based Permissions (RBP) for fine-grained access management.

The Bigger Picture

These enhancements reflect a clear vision: the People Profile should be the definitive source of truth for everything related to an employee — from the moment they begin onboarding through every milestone in their career. With documents, compliance, talent data, and onboarding status all converging in one experience, HR teams gain efficiency, employees gain transparency, and organizations gain confidence in their data.

Stay tuned — many of these capabilities are in Early Adoption now, with General Availability coming in 2H 2026. We encourage customers to explore the Early Adoption program and experience these features firsthand.
