Introduction

In 2026, we continue our commitment to delivering disruption-free upgrades and zero Day 1 impact for customers using SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition. With ongoing enhancements to the Release Assessment and Scope Dependency tool (RASD), we are further strengthening our ability to proactively identify and communicate all relevant Day 1 impacts based on customer usage.

Stay tuned as we bring you the latest updates and innovations in Release Assessment and Scope Dependency (RASD) throughout 2026.

Key Features and Enhancements in 2026

Change History

The Change History feature allows users to track updates made to the What’s New content for a specific release, from the Preliminary version through to the Release to Customer (RTC) version. Since preliminary content is typically published 3–5 weeks prior to RTC, this feature provides visibility into all updates made during that period.

It enables users to:

  • Stay informed about the latest changes
  • Minimize last-minute effort during RTC
  • Improve overall planning and readiness

How to Access and Use Change History

  1. Navigate to Change History
The Change History information published in the What’s New Viewer can be accessed directly via the link available at the top of the Complete What’s New Viewer Tab.

  2. Use the “Last Modified On” Filter
Within each What’s New Viewer card, the “Last Modified On” filter enables users to:
    • View items updated after a selected date
    • Focus only on recent changes
    • Avoid rechecking previously reviewed entries

Each card also includes direct navigation to the Change History content, allowing users to review updates at a more granular level.

Rather than reviewing all entries, users can apply a date filter to focus on recent updates.

This approach helps to avoid revisiting previously reviewed items and ensures efficient tracking of the latest changes.
