One of those value maps is dedicated to Supply Chain Management (SCM), and it just got a redesign. As the supply chain portfolio continues to grow, navigating the available guidance, remote services, and enablement content can become overwhelming. That is why we redesigned it to make navigation simpler, faster, and more in line with how you actually work.
Whether you are just starting your SAP supply chain journey or looking to speed up adoption of specific solutions, the value map is built to meet you where you are, organized around the portfolio areas you already know.
A Portfolio-Oriented Overview Page
The biggest change is on the Overview page. As soon as you enter the SCM value map, you are welcomed with six Featured Topics, each organized around portfolio area rather than an individual solution within SAP's supply chain offering. This allows you to quickly find the foundational guidance, services, and enablement content that matters most to you.
The six Featured Topics are: Supply chain planning, Supply chain logistics, Manufacturing, Product lifecycle management, Enterprise asset management, and Business Network, each giving you a direct entry point into the content relevant to that portfolio.
SAP Business Network Now in the SCM Value Map
Another update worth highlighting is the addition of SAP Business Network, now featured alongside the rest of the supply chain portfolio in one place.
SAP Business Network is a cloud-based network that connects buyers, suppliers, logistics providers, and asset operators. It brings together procurement, logistics, and asset processes in one place, with shared visibility and reliable data.
To better reflect how customers run their supply chain operations, three SAP Business Network modules are now featured in the SCM value map:
- Supply Chain
- Logistics
- Asset Management
Knowledge Base Sub-Page Refreshed
The Knowledge Base sub-page has also been refreshed. It is still your go-to starting point for foundational guidance from SAP Enterprise Support, covering design, planning, manufacturing, delivery, operations, and connected business networks. Its purpose remains to help you establish a solid foundation, safeguard solution quality during implementation and operation, and support the adoption of new innovations.
What is new is the consolidation into a single Continuous Quality Checks topic across SCM solutions, and the introduction of AI for Supply Chain.
Continuous Quality Checks for Supply Chain
The Continuous Quality Check (CQC) services are organized by SCM portfolio. CQCs are remote services offered by SAP Enterprise Support at no additional cost that analyze your project, system, or specific situations. They help identify and reduce technical and operational risks, validate solution usage and configuration in line with SAP best practices, and highlight opportunities for optimization and continuous improvement. Each CQC engagement results in a structured report that includes an executive summary, key findings, and actionable recommendations.
A dedicated topic covering how SAP Business AI is embedded across the supply chain portfolio. From intelligent forecasting and automated logistics execution to predictive maintenance, it is a great place to start if you want to understand and adopt AI capabilities across your supply chain solutions.
