If you are working with SAP Transportation Management (TM) and SAP HANA Spatial Services (HSS), you’ve likely seen the recent news regarding the Matrix Routing API. According to SAP Note 3648907, the Matrix Routing v1 API has reached its end-of-life (EOL) and must be migrated to v2 before September 2026.

Additionally, this migration includes a change in the licensing provider within the OEM model: the service is shifting from HERE to TomTom.

To migrate from Matrix Routing v1 API to Matrix Routing v2 API, you need to implement sap note 3695260. Follow regular steps you would on implementing any SAP Note, like checking pre-requisites.

Please be aware that evaluating your licensing models and parameters adjustments are be necessaire steps for this migration. Notes 3648907 and 3648910 can help you on that.
