With the Q4 2026 release, the Favourites and Shared With Me tabs will be removed from the SAP Analytics Cloud home screen.
Why we are making this change
As part of the ongoing SAC Home Screen redesign, we are simplifying the navigation experience. The goal is a leaner home screen that avoids redundancy — content that is available in multiple places creates confusion rather than convenience.
Both tabs are being replaced by more integrated access points that fit better into the overall home screen structure:
- Favourites are accessible via the Favourites card on the Today tab and via the file repository using the corresponding filter.
- Shared With Me content remains accessible through the file repository.
What you already see in Q3
Starting with the Q3 release, both tabs display a deprecation notice informing users of the upcoming removal. This gives admins and users time to adjust workflows and navigation habits before the tabs are fully removed in Q4.
What you should do now
- Inform your users that the Favourites and Shared With Me tabs will disappear in Q4.
- Redirect workflows that rely on these tabs to the Favourites card (Today tab) or the file repository.
- If the Favourites card is not visible on your Today tab, enable it via Profile → Settings → Home Screen and toggle on “Favourites”.
- If you have training materials or onboarding guides that reference these tabs, plan to update them ahead of the Q4 release.
