This ninth and last post in my series gives an overview innovations in our UI tools and technologies, making it ever easier to design, build and integrate UIs, for both web and mobile applications. The compositional design system is powering AI-native engagement layer experiences in Joule Work. AI is making it much easier to design and code: we have a large number of innovations there, with MCP server enhancements and plug-ins for Claude Code and GitHub Copilot, as well as providing the AI-powered Project Accelerator from SAP Fiori tools for ABAP too. But that’s not all, we’ve also invested in usability, performance and extensibility. We’ve also been looking at mobile development, with enhancements for web apps on mobile phones, as well as support for embedding AI into apps built with the mobile development kit.
