Data from External Systems for VAT Returns
For businesses with distributed landscapes or those using specialized line-of-business solutions, this release enables the creation of VAT Returns that include tax items from external systems, beginning with the United Kingdom.
Using the manage external tax items app, business users can review, enrich, and upload data from other systems via manual creation or Microsoft Excel. This allows for the generation of a consolidated VAT return, enabling a smoother, more standardized VAT group reporting process that can scale to a single global solution.

E-Invoicing Submission Error Resolution Agent
As more countries adopt mandatory e-invoicing, rejections from tax authorities can delay order-to-cash processes. This release introduces an agent to simplify and accelerate error correction.
The E-Invoicing Submission Error Resolution Agent classifies and analyzes technical error messages from tax authorities, providing guided root cause analysis and recommended resolution actions in context.
This accelerates error detection, helps organizations meet submission deadlines, and reduces the risk of non-compliance penalties through standardized guidance.

Statutory Report Analysis Agent
Reviewing statutory reports like VAT returns can be time intensive. To address this, a new agent analyzes trends, detects outliers, and performs root cause analysis before submission.
By comparing key figures across reporting periods, the agent identifies irregularities and flags report runs that require attention. It then provides consolidated summaries and actionable recommendations. This helps reduce the time required to review reports, identify potential compliance risks earlier in the process, and enable more informed decision-making.

Low Weight Reporting for Intrastat Declarations
This release enhances Intrastat declaration processing by enabling precise mass entry for very light products. You can now enter weights below one gram for individual Intrastat declaration items, capturing the true product mass without rounding. This improves data quality and compliance, reduces correction requests, and eliminates the need for workarounds. The ability to perform mass updates across declaration items further speeds up maintenance and enhances auditability.

Check Payments for Trade Compliance Using Global Trade Services
To further strengthen compliance, we have extended sanction party list screening to include bank master data. This feature integrates with SAP Global Trade Services to automatically block payments when a sanction party list or embargo violation is detected for vendors, customers, or their associated banks.
This capability reduces compliance risk by preventing payments to sanctioned parties, strengthens end-to-end trade compliance in one integrated process, and avoids manual review efforts through automated payment blocking.

International Trade Classification Agent
This release introduces an AI-powered international trade classification agent. This innovation helps product classification specialists by automating the classification of goods for international shipping. It analyzes product characteristics and trade regulations to recommend customs tariff numbers and commodity codes, providing a clear rationale for each recommendation to support easier review and approval.
This saves valuable time, helps ensure compliance, and reduces risk by minimizing manual errors through a robust and auditable decision process.

Integration of SAP Build Work Zone
To simplify access to critical applications, this release integrates SAP Build Work Zone, standard edition with SAP Watch List Screening. This allows you to create a single, common launchpad, grouping together tiles from SAP Watch List Screening and other applications.
This provides business users with a central point of access for all their apps and tasks, delivering an intuitive, role-based, and personalized business site that enhances the user experience and simplifies daily operations.
