SAP has announced its intent to acquire TechWolf, a provider of a leading AI work intelligence platform that offers the foundation for workforce transformation.
TechWolf provides companies with a real-time, AI-powered model of their entire workforce, mapping employees’ skills, capabilities and tasks against company strategy to identify where to hire, retrain, or deploy their people. Pending regulatory approval, we expect TechWolf to enhance the SAP SuccessFactors HCM Suite, Joule, and the broader SAP portfolio by supporting our ability to provide our customers with continuous workforce planning, AI-informed role design, and context-aware recommendations on talent deployment and development.
Adding TechWolf’s technology to the SAP portfolio will enable us to turn workforce data into a decision engine for the autonomous enterprise.
Until regulatory approvals are obtained and the transaction is closed, both SAP and TechWolf will continue to operate independently and maintain business as usual.
The transaction is expected to close in the fourth quarter of 2026, subject to customary closing conditions, including regulatory approvals. Post-close, we will begin defining the integrated product roadmap.
