SAP Pay was Introduced with the core vision during SAP Connect event on October 6, 2026

What is SAP Pay?

SAP Pay is the out-of-the-box B2B payments solution embedded in SAP Cloud ERP and provided by Tereina, an SAP entity dedicated to providing payment services, with OFAC and KYC/AML screening applied to every transaction. This gives SAP Cloud ERP customers a built-in way to automate payment execution across traditional and digital currency rails, with no separate implementation project, bank testing, or manual file uploads. Because SAP Pay runs natively inside the ERP environment, finance teams can initiate and manage payments without leaving their existing SAP workflow.

Access every payment rail—traditional and digital—through a single connection, with payment automation, reconciliation, and a unified know-your-customer process that:

  • Supports ACH, EFT, wire, check, and stablecoin payments like USD Coin (USDC).
  • Auto-reconciles every payment to its originating purchase order (PO) or invoice.
  • Covers 89 global corridors—no per-country bank setup required.
  • Autonomously initiates and executes payments using AI agents.

SAP Pay powered by Tereina

Reduce payment costs and drive payment automation with embedded, agentic B2B payments across traditional and digital currency rails.

Key features

Multi-rail payment support—your payment, your option

SAP Pay supports fiat and digital currencies and many payment types. This includes real-time payments, alongside USDC stablecoin payments with native integration to Circle, and an intelligent routing to the optimal rail for each transaction across 40+ currencies—all from a single platform.

Natively embedded in SAP S/4HANA

SAP Pay ships as an out-of-the-box capability inside SAP Cloud ERP, with secure bank communication handled via SAP Multi-Bank Connectivity. There’s no implementation project, no new vendor contract, and no custom code—customers activate it inside existing SAP workflow and it runs.

Agentic payment execution

SAP Pay embeds payment execution into SAP now, the foundational step toward agentic payments. The AI agents that already support your finance team through Joule will soon trigger and execute payments, too, closing decision to execution in one flow.
