In this structured program, SAP collaborates directly with customers and SAP partners to validate concepts and gather input before building new functionalities. Your feedback shapes real product decisions.
What This Initiative Covers
The Automatic Clearing in Finance: AI Advisor and Architecture Research initiative focuses on the following areas:
- An SAP Joule-based that helps Finance teams review and optimize their automatic clearing configuration — starting with GR/IR clearing (Goods Receipt/Invoice Receipt) and extending to open-item management in general ledger (GL).
- Event-based clearing concept validation to explore whether clearing at the point of posting would better align with how Finance teams actually work.
- Exploration of further AI capabilities in automatic clearing and open-item management — to be defined based on customer input gathered in this initiative.
Why It Matters
Automatic clearing can be complex to configure and maintain. Your input will directly shape how SAP develops related capabilities. This is your opportunity to influence the design before it's built. We plan to conduct structured video sessions, typically 60–90 minutes per participant.
