From April 21-23, the Eclipse Foundation brought the global open-source community together in Brussels for its Open Community Experience (OCX) conference. The event clearly demonstrated that open source is not only a development model but also a basis for strategic infrastructure. OCX 2026 featured nearly 150 sessions, including keynotes, breakout sessions, Birds of a Feather (BoF) sessions, hands-on workshops, and panel discussions. SAP was not only one of the sponsors but also actively participated in this conference and a booth. OCX was about learning, meeting colleagues, peers, and co-contributors, managing logistics including train delays, and having fun!
