SAP extends contract with Gina Vargiu-Breuer

SAP NEWSBYTE – April 10, 2026 – SAP SE today announced that it is extending the current contract with Gina Vargiu-Breuer (51), Chief People Officer of SAP SE, for another three years until January 31, 2030.

“In her role as Chief People Officer, Gina Vargiu-Breuer has optimized our processes in the areas of personnel recruitment, development and management, thereby setting an important course for the long-term success of SAP,” said Pekka Ala-Pietilä, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of SAP SE. “We appreciate her drive and commitment and are convinced that she will further advance SAP on its path into the AI ​​age.”

“I am grateful for the trust that the Supervisory Board has placed in me and look forward to shaping SAP’s transformation in the age of AI,” said Vargiu-Breuer. “It’s about changing how we operate – how we work, make decisions and deliver value to our customers. Together, my People & Culture team and I will continue what we started two years ago and create significant value with this transformation.”

Vargiu-Breuer was appointed to the Executive Board of SAP SE in 2024. Before joining SAP, she worked as Senior Vice President of Human Resources at Siemens Energy. Previously, Vargiu-Breuer held several roles at Siemens AG.
