SAP NEWSBYTE – April 10, 2026 – SAP SE today announced that it is extending the current contract with Gina Vargiu-Breuer (51), Chief People Officer of SAP SE, for another three years until January 31, 2030.
“In her role as Chief People Officer, Gina Vargiu-Breuer has optimized our processes in the areas of personnel recruitment, development and management, thereby setting an important course for the long-term success of SAP,” said Pekka Ala-Pietilä, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of SAP SE. “We appreciate her drive and commitment and are convinced that she will further advance SAP on its path into the AI age.”
“I am grateful for the trust that the Supervisory Board has placed in me and look forward to shaping SAP’s transformation in the age of AI,” said Vargiu-Breuer. “It’s about changing how we operate – how we work, make decisions and deliver value to our customers. Together, my People & Culture team and I will continue what we started two years ago and create significant value with this transformation.”
Vargiu-Breuer was appointed to the Executive Board of SAP SE in 2024. Before joining SAP, she worked as Senior Vice President of Human Resources at Siemens Energy. Previously, Vargiu-Breuer held several roles at Siemens AG.
