Electronic invoicing has been a regulatory requirement in Argentina since the early 2000s. SAP currently provides compliance support through different mechanisms depending on the product in use:
SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition
Electronic invoicing as part of SAP Document and Reporting Compliance for Argentina is already available in SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition, providing support for header-level, detailed, and export invoicing scenarios.
SAP S/4HANA Cloud Private Edition and On-Premise Editions
Electronic Invoicing for Argentina is now on the roadmap for these products. The planned solution will deliver end-to-end integration through SAP Document and Reporting Compliance cloud edition, connecting these S/4HANA editions with Argentina’s national tax authority.
Today these products are supported through ABAP transactions with open integration BAPIs. These ABAP transactions and their associated BAPIs are supported in accordance with the SAP S/4HANA and SAP ECC licensing models. Also, SAP NetWeaver Process Orchestration sample implementation instructions are available via SAP Notes to simplify tax office integration.
SAP NetWeaver Process Orchestration is approaching end of mainstream maintenance in the current year. In light of this, please be advised that effective 2027, the following will no longer be provided as part of the country localization solution:
