In my first blog on chemical industry relevant enhancements in 2602 Cloud ERP release, I had covered enhancements in Asset Management, Environment, Health and Safety and Transportation Management. Next, I will provide update on (2602 Cloud ERP) key enhancements in Product Compliance and Sales.

Product compliance capabilities in 2602 Cloud ERP have been enhanced with following new functionalities:

• Dangerous goods classification process has been enhanced to support the classification of multi-component products (which consist of two or more compliance-relevant components that are sold together as a single product)
• Ensuring Safety Data Sheet (SDS) availability for a region / country where a product is sold is essential for its marketability (in that region / country). If country/region-specific SDS is not available Fallback safety data sheet can be shipped instead. By setting fallback SDS at compliance requirement level in the Configure Compliance Requirements – Safety Data Sheets app shipment of fallback SDS can be ensured (when no SDS is available for a country / region).
• Enhancements to the Manage Handling and Storage App enables you to provide and include all handling and storage information as required for example in section 7 of the EU safety data sheet.
• Support for Branded Products (have same chemical formulation but sold with multiple brand names (like for marketing requirements)) has been extended to apply (cover) specific compliance purposes (dependent on markets in which branded products are sold) and accordingly generate safety data sheets for branded products with compliance information

Sales (Lead to Cash) related capabilities in 2602 Cloud ERP has been enhanced with following new functionalities:

• Down payments aid in improving a chemical enterprise overall liquidity position. It can utilize Advanced down payment (ADP) solution to request, process customer down payments and perform settlement against customer invoices. ADP has been enhanced to offer delivery-related billing of physical goods sales with flexible down payment settlement. This process is available through scope item 7S7 (Sell from Stock with Down Payment Requests) and currently covers legal requirements of United States and Germany.
• Manage various sales documents in a centralized manner with new Fiori App – Manage Sales documents. This app enables you to display, sort, filter a list of sales documents, make changes to one or more sales documents (like remove delivery blocks) or create a Sales document
