Yes, 6.0, no typo 😊 – there is a new version of the SAP Add-On Assembly Kit available since a few days. The Add-On Assembly Kit goes App

Main change in the new version is that you can now use the Add-On Assembly App instead of the good old SDA (Software Delivery Assembler) to create the installation file.

This app is hosted and managed by SAP. It comes with the following features:

•  A wizard to define the requirements or prerequisites for the installation of your add-on. Only if they are met, you customers can install the add-on
• A direct connection to SAP‘s product database which makes sure that you can only select valid products and combinations when defining the prerequisites
• As input for the app, SDC provides a delivery file with the installed software component releases, support package levels, installed languages, and the installed SAP_BASIS release of your assembly system
