SFTP authentication with private key

Carriers can now authenticate SFTP connections using private key authentication in addition to basic authentication. The system handles secure authentication for both inbound and outbound EDI file transfers.

Benefit: This improves data security and compliance, reducing risks associated with credential-based authentication and strengthening trust across partner integrations.

SAP Business Network Freight Collaboration

New status to indicate update after carrier confirmation

A new status has been introduced to indicate when a freight booking has been updated after carrier confirmation. The status ‘Confirmed (Updated)’ will show in the ‘Confirm Freight Booking (Ocean)’ and ‘Confirm Freight Booking (Air)’ apps.

Benefit: The new status helps provide greater transparency into booking milestones, clearer communication between shippers and carriers and reduces ambiguity in the execution process.

Streamlined access to appointment details from email notification

Shippers and carriers can now access appointment information directly form the link in the email notification, rather than navigating through multiple screens.

Benefits: This provides faster access to critical information and reduces time spend navigating applications.

Dock appointment scheduling: more details provided on stops

Regional and postal code added to appointment stop information in ‘Self-Book Dock Appointment’ and ‘Manage Dock Appointments’ apps.
