We're writing to inform you of an important update to E-Verify account management. Starting this year, E-Verify will require all users to validate and certify that their account information is current and correct. This change is designed to enhance security and ensure compliance with federal requirements.

You can act now: Authorized users can begin updating their contact information and Unique Entity Identifier (UEI) immediately by working with our Support team through a Support Case. Don't wait—get ahead of this requirement today.

What's Changing and When

Beginning this year, users must validate and certify their account information every 12 months. This is a one-time requirement per account—only one authorized user needs to complete it.

What happens if you don't certify on time? Account features, including case creation, will be blocked until certification is completed. We recommend prioritizing this to avoid service interruptions.

Federal Contractors: UEI Requirements

If your company is a federal contractor with a Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) E-Verify clause, this section applies to you.

Action required: Add your Unique Entity Identifier (UEI) number to the Company Information section of your Company Profile as soon as possible. The UEI is required to ensure proper identification and compliance with federal regulations.

How to Find Your UEI

Your UEI is issued through SAM.gov. If your company is registered in SAM.gov, it already has a UEI.

  1. Visit https://sam.gov/
  2. Log in with your company credentials
  3. Locate your UEI in your account information
  4. Contact our Support team to add it to your E-Verify Company Profile

No longer a federal contractor with FAR E-Verify requirements? We can also help update your company profile to reflect this change, and the UEI will no longer be required.
