With the latest release of Joule Work mobile app Version 3.1, the app provides exciting features for both, the New Experience (Engagement Layer), as well as the SAP Build Work Zone Experience – formally called SAP Mobile Start.
Let me start with the features that are valid for both experiences.
Based on customer feedback, the app allows you now to customise the Support Section on the Settings screen. This allows you to add additional information for your users, in case they have any support needs. Administrators can easily add information, such as phone numbers, email addresses, and websites for further end user support. Once configured, the info is displayed in the Profile and Settings screen as well as during the onboarding process. The feature can be added and configured via SAP Mobile Services or via Mobile Device Management (MDM). Please also check our SAP Help page for details.
We also have updated the supported languages for SAP Joule Work and added: Greek, Croatian, Indonesian, Romanian, Ukrainian, and Vietnamese.
Now, let us have a look at the features that are relevant for the SAP Build Work Zone Experience.
First and most important, you can now directly access workspaces from SAP Build Work Zone, advanced edition – via a dedicated screen that is available in the navigation bar. This ensures that you get direct access to your most needed content from anywhere in the app. In case you work with many workspaces, you can easily filter them, for instance if you only want to see your favourites – or search for them. As soon as this feature got enabled by the admin, the SAP Build Work Zone Workspaces screen will be visible.

Second, users can now change the language of external SAP Build Work Zone tiles, like news and to-dos directly inside the app, from the settings screen.
Now, let us have a look at the new features for our Joule Work New Experience.
As introduced in my last blog “Joule Work, mobile app is here”, Spaces are one of the key elements of the New Experience. Lets recap: Spaces are dynamic, intent-driven workspaces for more complex business problems. They are composed in real time to bring the right data from different systems, tools, and context together for a specific goal, freeing people from working in multiple applications and passive UIs. With the new release, you can now pin your favourite spaces to the top of the spaces list, what will make it much easier for you to access your favourite content. To do so, just do a long tap on the space that you want to pin and the menu appears. Here, you can easily rename your space, delete it or pin/ unpin it. Joule Work New Experience is currently available within an Early Adapter Care program.

I hope you will enjoy these features in the Joule Work mobile app.
