New Here?
The SAP Green Ledger Analytical Dashboard is an SAP Analytics Cloud story that puts greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and financial data on the same canvas: KPIs, trend charts, a CO2e flow statement, and a financial statement with CO2e quantities. It's built on top of SAP Datasphere (data layer) and SAP Analytics Cloud (presentation layer), and ships as ready-to-import business content.
For the full tour of pages, KPIs, filters, and how the calculations work, see Analyze Carbon Data Alongside Financial Data | SAP Help Portal in the SAP Green Ledger documentation. The setup walkthrough lives in the Install SAP Green Ledger Analytical Dashboard | SAP Help Portal.
What's new in Q3/2026?
Release time: August 17, 2026. SAC content version 1.6.0, Datasphere content version 1.6.0.
Business System Configuration (Action Required)
A new local table has been added for business system specification. You'll need to configure your business system in this table to ensure proper functionality. Check out the “Specify Finance Business System” section in Update Existing Business Content | SAP Help Portal for step-by-step guidance.
Project Filter Enhancement (Action Required)
We've introduced a new Project filter that streamlines your workflow. Once you select a project, the WBS Element filter automatically displays only relevant values. To enable this feature, make sure you've replicated the necessary master data from your source system. Find detailed instructions in the “Set Up Master Data and Transaction Data from Finance Business System” section within Integrate with SAP Datasphere | SAP Help Portal.
Clearer Unit of Measure
We've updated the unit of measure for Combined GHG and Finance KPIs on the first page. It now displays as “in Ton / m Currency” (millions) instead of “in Ton / Currency.” This change makes the data more readable, as emissions per single currency unit were producing numbers too small to interpret effectively.
Smarter Line Charts
Line charts for Data Quality Characteristic, Mode of Transport, and Energy Breakdown on the first page are now only scoped by their relevant categories. This prevents confusing empty results when applying non-relevant filters.
Troubleshooting
For known issues and resolutions, see Troubleshooting. If the issue persists, contact technical support.
