SAP still allows access to some information after a maintenance agreement has expired. However, certain services are only available with an active support contract. Login to SAP for Me may still be possible after maintenance has expired, with limited functionality.
What is still possible:
- View existing systems and previously assigned licenses
- Access to old support cases (read-only) –Users can still view and access cases even if the maintenance on the installation is no longer valid, (unless the installation number is deleted).
- License keys (excluding maintenance certificates)
- SSCR keys (Developer & Object)
- Access to Security Notes
What is no longer possible:
- Submitting new support cases to SAP Support
- Downloading software, patches, legal changes or updates requiring entitlement
- Access to SAP Notes and Knowledge Base Articles
- Accessing full SAP support services such as SAP for Me etc.
Who should I contact re expired maintenance?
You can reach out to your Account Executive as per KBA 2626344 or SAP Order Management (contracts) by e-mailing sapcontractcenter@sap.com according to KBA 1660069 for help with the expired contracts topics.
How to find out who my Account Executive is?
Contact the Customer Interaction Center (CIC) since they can provide this information. There are several ways to contact the Customer Interaction Center (CIC). Be sure to provide the S-user ID, customer number, and customer name, and details of the issue when contacting the CIC team.
