In our development work around SAP Business AI, our customers are always the focus. With the innovations and partnerships that we have announced on the SAP Sapphire, and other releases in the second quarter of 2025 we further underpinned this customer orientation.
The first of the more than 40 joule agents we have announced on the SAP Sapphire are now available for customers. Various functional areas, these agents support companies in solving clarification cases, maintaining close relationships with their customers, carrying out subsequent activities and doing numerous other tasks. AI FoundationThe AI operating system for all SAP Business AI solutions, allows all tools for the development, expansion and execution of customer-specific AI solutions and agents on a large scale on a central platform and thus simplifies the development in the field of AI.
And these were just a few examples of the innovations and solutions that we announced on the SAP Sapphire. Joules
SAP Joule for Consultants
Generally available
Consultants need efficient access to reliable information for complex innovation and transformation projects. With SAP Joule for Consultants Consultants can get a quick overview of the task, business logic and structure of ABAP code. They are supported by a model that was trained with 300 million lines of ABAP code and 30 million lines CDS code. Through this access to exclusive SAP content, more than 200,000 pages of SAP documentary, over 50 SAP certifications and more than two terabytes of selected content from the SAP Community, consultants are able to make well-founded decisions and to organize projects on Best Practices.
The business advantages that result from this include up to 14 % faster project implementation and 50 % fewer design editions and adjustments. By faster access to specialist knowledge and a better code interpretation, consultants also save an estimated 1.5 hours every day.*
This function was recently in the First cohort of the Minds program of the World Economic Forum recorded. As part of this program, it shows how AI can be used in concrete scenarios in order to manage complex global challenges responsibly.

Joule in Microsoft 365 Copilot and Microsoft Teams
Generally available
Modern companies rely on the interoperability of important company systems. Joule is now available in Microsoft 365 Copilot and Microsoft teams including Microsoft Teams Mobile. Thanks to this integration, users benefit from the advantages of both environments and can access information and do tasks.
Customers can now talk to Joule directly in Microsoft, Joule in Microsoft Teams and Microsoft Teams use mobile as an app and ask joules directly in Microsoft 365 copilot. By integrating joules in Microsoft 365 Copilot, users have a uniform AI experience in SAP and Microsoft environments. This increases employee productivity, while information silos is eliminated and workflows are simplified. This results in more efficient processes and enables data -based decisions throughout the company. We will continue this integration in the second half of the year and integrate the functions of Microsoft 365 Copilot into joules and SAP applications. This will enable users to access data in Microsoft Teams, Outlook, Onedrive and SharePoint directly via joules.

Analysis functions
Generally available
With the analysis functions of Joule, companies can be supported directly in the workflows of SAP applications in decisions if necessary. Users can ask joules in natural language, for example: “Which three sales managers have achieved the best results in the past month?” or “How high are the sales commissions this month?” Joule immediately offers you context -related insights, on the basis of which you can make well -founded decisions – without having to switch to the dashboards in SAP Analytics Cloud. The number of steps to get insights into data can be reduced by 80 % in this way. At the same time, customers benefit from a seamless user experience.*
