In our development work around SAP Business AI, our customers are always the focus. With the innovations and partnerships that we have announced on the SAP Sapphire, and other releases in the second quarter of 2025 we further underpinned this customer orientation.
The first of the more than 40 joule agents we have announced on the SAP Sapphire are now available for customers. Various functional areas, these agents support companies in solving clarification cases, maintaining close relationships with their customers, carrying out subsequent activities and doing numerous other tasks. AI Foundation, the AI operating system for all SAP business AI solutions, brings together all tools for the development, expansion and execution of customer-specific AI solutions and agents on a large scale on a central platform and thus simplifies the development in the field of AI.
And these were just a few examples of the innovations and solutions that we announced on the SAP Sapphire. Use of joules in SAP-FieldGlass solutions
Generally available
Using Joule in SAP Field Glass solutions, managers can effortlessly do important tasks and, for example, display, call up, search, approve and organize activities. These functions are integrated into working time sheets, work orders and job advertisements and are available via a uniform surface.
Joule helps executives, quickly the right templates e.g. B. to be found for setting personnel or the procurement of services and thus enables more efficient document creation. Users get insights into corporate data by finding the relevant reports more easily and displaying the development of important key figures. Alternatively, you can simply ask joules questions. Joule then searches the documentation in the SAP Help portal to call up the correct information without users having to navigate from their current task to the corresponding application.
Managers can expect that the productivity of employees will increase by 50 to 70 % when completing their tasks, since they need less time to search and edit the correct setting templates, to create performance descriptions and interviews and to get reports more easily.*

AI-based competence-based job advertisements in SAP FieldGlass Contingent Workforce Management

Employing managers often spend a lot of time to write detailed job descriptions in order to find the right specialists. With AI-based competence-based job advertisements in SAP Fieldglass Contingent Workforce Management, you can now focus on important skills instead of describing the respective roles in detail. The function suggests relevant skills from a custom library and thus enables a faster and more intelligent selection of the right specialists.
This reduces the time required for the definition and comparison of qualifications for a job description by 50 %. At the same time, productivity increases by 15 to 25 % and staff can be increased 40 % faster, which enables more efficient and effective management of external workers.*

AI-based strategy overviews for SAP Ariba Category Management
Generally available
Category Managers can use AI-based strategy overviews in SAP Ariba to generate short summaries from strategy documents to a category and, in this way, quickly gain important insights without detailed manual examination. The revised overviews can then be submitted for approval and re -generated if necessary. This reduces the time required for the examination and approval of strategy documents for a category by 50 %.*

Agent for procurement
Beta-release
Procurement managers can now automate procurement events and make updates in real time in order to keep up with the requirements of the company. By using logic, the agent for procurement can draw conclusions from requirements for procurement events, data on previous events and supplier information in order to create independently tailor -made events on this basis. Procurement managers can now create and adapt events in real time and automatically carry out intelligent updates. In this way you can make well -founded purchase decisions and react more flexibly to interruptions of the supply chain and changed terms and conditions.
The agent for procurement enables easier procurement processes by automating the creation of tenders, ensures consistency and reduces manual effort. Procurement managers receive intelligent recommendations for the event time, for questions, articles and suppliers. This allows tenders to be created up to 70 % faster.*
