SAP NEWSBYTE — October 23, 2025 — SAP SE (NYSE: SAP) today announced that Nestlé, one of the world’s largest food and beverage companies, has successfully launched SAP S/4HANA Cloud Private Edition in 112 countries. Additional locations in Europe and America will follow in the coming months.
The first of three planned changes involved more than 50,000 employees and was successfully completed in less than 20 hours. By using a standardized technology platform, the change in business operations could take place with almost no downtime. Nestlé is thus creating new standards for digital transformation in the consumer goods industry.
Nestlé has been relying on SAP technologies as a uniform platform to control its global business processes since 2000 and took the step into the cloud in 2022. With the current upgrade to SAP S/4HANA Cloud Private Edition, the company is taking another important step in its digital transformation to position itself for the future. The aim is to react flexibly to changing consumer needs and to make optimal use of new technologies for the company’s success.
