It’s an exciting time for SAP SuccessFactors customers with our 1H 2026 preview release live as of April 13, 2026.  The production release arrives on May 15, bringing innovations that support how organizations operate through a unified experience.

The full list of over 400 enhancements can be found in the What’s New Viewer, however let’s take a look at some of the highlights for SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Global Benefits.

New Reimbursement Enrollment Experience

We’ve made it easier for employees to enroll in, edit, or opt-out of reimbursement benefits.  Employees can now select their reimbursement using an intuitive design for quick, accurate completion of changes that reduce errors and follow-up inquiries.  The new reimbursement enrollment experience supports all existing benefit types to ensure a smooth transition.

Configurable 401(k) Enrollment Experience

We’re pleased to share that US employees can now select their 401(k) plan from within SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Global Benefits.  A clear, configurable experience explains estimated employer contributions and guides them through deferrals and beneficiary setup.  This comes with a robust framework, supporting standard deferral sources, catch-up eligibility, estimated employer contribution calculations, beneficiary setup, and pay component mapping.
