Armonk and Walldorf – IBM and SAP have announced the upcoming launch of RISE with SAP on IBM Power Virtual Server announced. IBM Power customers should be able to accelerate their ERP transformation even faster and more easily.
Together, SAP and IBM want to help companies move and modernize their on-premise ERP environments more seamlessly to the cloud and support AI-based business processes.
RISE with SAP offers value-added services, cloud ERP solutions and platforms and supports companies in redesigning their business model. As a new SAP hyperscaler offering, RISE with SAP on IBM Power Virtual Server can help reduce risk and shorten SAP S/4HANA Cloud migration time from on-premise environments on IBM Power systems to the cloud to 90 days.1

Cloud migration through industry-leading, SAP-certified infrastructure
With IBM Power Virtual Serversthe cloud-based version of IBM's mission-critical Power Server platform for on-premise ERP systems, customers can move their SAP ERP systems from an on-premise environment to the cloud faster, modernize business processes and become more agile. IBM Power servers are known for their high security, scalability and reliability. They take part among the SAP-certified infrastructures2 ranked first in availability and designed to minimize disruption and enable faster migration, supported by the highly resilient and secure IBM Cloud platform.

IBM completes global modernization with SAP S/4HANA Cloud through RISE with SAP
IBM has extensive experience in modernization and managed services projects with SAP S/4HANA Cloud. In one of the largest and most complex SAP customer modernization projects to date with SAP S/4HANA Cloud, IBM recently transitioned its Quote-to-Cash and Record-to-Report processes to RISE with SAP on IBM Power Virtual Server.
This IBM project affected over 150,000 users in 175 countries within 18 months. During this time, infrastructure costs and associated operations were reduced by 30 percent by streamlining the entire server and data base and increasing process automation.3 IBM Consulting led this transformation project from start to finish, providing technical services, implementation and application management expertise. This ensured that these complex solutions could be migrated and operated safely.

IBM consulting and partner network for accelerated transformation
Customers will also be able to accelerate their transformation with SAP S/4HANA Cloud by working with IBM Consulting or another SAP partner. To provide customers with choice, IBM also works with other global system integrators and service partners to develop, implement and migrate RISE with SAP projects.
The two companies plan to work together with a network of partners to help IBM customers transform with RISE with SAP on IBM Power Virtual Server with combined solutions, capabilities and joint sales efforts. RISE with SAP on IBM Power Virtual Server customers and IBM business partners will also have access to a new one IBM Transformation Suite for SAP Applicationswhich supports you in the transition to SAP S/4HANA Cloud and RISE with SAP. It bundles best-of-breed software and services for evaluating current environments, data migration and automated testing.
